Every new Highlander Hybrid model comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and either one or two electric motors. Models with front-wheel drive have one motor, while all-wheel drive models have two. The extra motor doesn't affect horsepower or torque though. Either system combines to offer 243-horsepower and 175 pounds-feet of torque. All models also let you enjoy impressive fuel economy in the city and on the highway. This performance lets you enjoy a commanding performance and save at the pump.
Safety
All Highlander Hybrid models come with a Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite of driver assistances features. The features include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and more. You can also enjoy available features like adaptive headlights and a 360-degree camera system.
Technology
Stay connected around Tennessee with a standard infotainment system on either an 8 or 12.3-inch touchscreen. All models have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. There's also an available wireless smartphone charging pad.
Design
All Highlander Hybrid offer sleek exterior styling, including standard LED headlights and a power liftgate. Inside, you can choose from two seating configurations. There's seating for eight with a second-row bench seat, or seating for seven with second-row captain's chairs.
