What's New for 2023?

There are minor changes to the new Toyota Highlander lineup this year.

Performance

Under the hood, every new Toyota Highlander model comes equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. It delivers a strong 295-horsepower and 263 pounds-feet of torque, which is more than other vehicles in its class. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but all-wheel drive is available on all models for greater traction and control. When properly equipped, the new Highlander models can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

Design

All 2023 Highlander models have a sleek and smooth exterior style, featuring available roof rails, LED headlights, and more. Inside, you can choose a configuration with seating for eight, or one with captain's chairs and seating for seven. All models have 16 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row. Fold down the seats and you can utilize up to 84.3 cubic feet of storage space.

Technology

Every new 2023 Highlander model comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The system has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to sync and control your smartphone on the go. There's also an available wireless charging pad offered in the XLE trim level and above.

Safety

Drive confidently with standard adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, forward collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking, and more. Higher trim levels also have blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
