The powertrain is all-new this year. All Sequoia models now come with a new hybrid powertrain, called iForce Max. It's a 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, paired with an electric motor and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Combined, the system delivers 437-horsepower and 583 pounds-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, allowing the Sequoia to deliver classic SUV muscle. All-wheel drive is available on all models, providing you with added traction and control on any surface.
If you want to go off-road and traverse even the toughest terrain, choose a Sequoia TRD Sport or TRD Pro model. Both models have specialized suspension that's built for the most rugged terrain. TRD Pro models also come with skid plates, FOX® shocks, and other off-road focused features.
Whether you're driving through the city or are tackling tough terrain, you'll be connected. That's because every Sequoia model comes with a state-of-the-art infotainment system. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes standard on the base model. All other models get a 14-inch touchscreen display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also come standard, allowing you to connect your smartphone using Bluetooth or a USB cord. Once connected, you can easily control calls, music, apps, maps, messages, and much more while you're on the go. A JBL® audio system is also available, providing crisp, clear audio.
Every new Toyota Sequoia model comes with a Toyota Safety Sense P system. It offers pre-collision braking, radar cruise control, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beams, and much more. You'll also get front and rear parking sensors and trailer sway control standard.
