Recently, Toyota Motor Sales announced that they have a permanent fix for the sticky accelerator recall. This is great news as Toyota said that dealers should start receiving parts for this recall by the end of this week. They also mentioned that owners of the affected vehicles should begin receiving notification letters this week.
At Wolfchase Toyota, we are planning to extend our hours of operation to accommodate our loyal customer base and will work 24 hours a day, seven days a week if needed. Our Technicians are currently training on this repair and our Service Call Center is currently making appointments for our customers. We are hiring staff to accommodate the expected increase in business in an effort to minimize wait time. We will focus on taking care of the vehicles that you are driving before we start repairing the affected vehicles for sale.
Toyota has a long history for their quality, dependability and reliability. Most of you driving Toyotas have never had any quality issues with your vehicle (especially relating to this recent recall). We are extremely confident that Toyota has and will continue to put you, our customer, as their first priority.
